TIME FOR THE RECHTMAKERS APPROACH?
Digna de Bruin developed this new approach from practice and helps organizations to bridge the gap between law, essence, innovation and behaviour.
Do the 'Fertile Soil' check
Take the 'fertile soil' check to determine, in consultation with us, which level of the Rechtmakers method is appropriate.
ABOUT DIGNA
I started as a partner in commercial law. But my true learning experience was life itself. Through trial and error, I found a different path: from litigation to designing agreements that support collaboration. From conflict to collaboration. Now I work as a designer of relational contracts and living governance, particularly in transitions.
Bringing law back to what it was intended for: to help people further.
FEATURED POSITIVE HEALTHY ALMERE (PGA)
Almere is the first city in the Netherlands to implement the Integrated Healthcare Agreement (IZA) on a large scale. The collaboration agreement governs the relationships between the 13 initiators, new entrants, and citizen initiatives. The goal is to create the conditions for a collaborative movement. What's remarkable is that it not only stipulates what the parties will do, but especially how they will do it together: based on trust, equality, and collaborative learning.
Digna de Bruin assisted the directors of the 13 initiators – and other stakeholders – in drafting the agreements. Digna: "Contracts don't belong to lawyers, but to the people who have to work with them. I want to encourage people to solve things themselves. If you make agreements based on fear and conflict (with sanctions and fines), you won't achieve synergy and collaboration."
