DIGNA AS SPEAKER
Digna de Bruin is a legal architect and changemaker.
After years as a lawyer and partner in commercial law and exploring many avenues, she founded De Rechtmakers – a platform that reinvents law and collaboration. She is a pioneer in guiding complex collaborations in which administrators, professionals, lawyers, and citizens learn to move together. between rules, relationships and intention. And thus makes an important contribution to solving social problems.
HER LECTURE THEMES
- Legal leadership in transformation – from paper (apparent) security to working trust
- Governance as a living system – how supervision and management can learn from practice
- From conflict to difference – tension as an entry point for cooperation
- The new contracting – agreements that connect instead of dividing
As long as the contract is old,
the change fails.
Digna speaks with warmth, clarity, and humor about what many find complex: the legal domain as a space for creation and connection. She is affiliated with the Ashoka Network for Social Entrepreneurship and teaches at Nyenrode Business University and WesselinkVanZijst.
Less legal,
more conversation
Legalization Topic of discussion at the Business Catering Industry Day
During CONTRAST Facility + Hospitality's annual industry event, the tension between essentiality and efficiency took center stage. One of the main themes: the increasing legalization of collaborations in the corporate hospitality industry.
Digna de Bruin demonstrated how to make agreements without legal wrangling. With her transformative contracting approach, she shifts the focus from rules and risks to collaboration, trust, and shared intention. Fewer words, more co-creation—with contracts as a roadmap for the future.
"Digna makes the legal process human, allowing us to continue as a citizen initiative. Legal architect, enabler, and supporter all in one."
